The Motorcycle Show Calgary. RIDE NOT TO ESCAPE LIFE, BUT SO LIFE DOESN’T ESCAPE YOU

CALGARY, AB (December 17, 2018) – The Motorcycle Show – Calgary, presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance takes place January 4-6 at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park. This is your chance to see the new models of ATV’s, motorcycles, scooters and side-by-sides from the major manufacturers all in one place.

“This year’s theme Your Show, Your Way speaks to the diversity, uniqueness, variety of rides and riders”, says Show Manager, Laurie Paetz. “What you ride and why you ride is different for everyone. The Show is a celebration every aspect of the lifestyle.”

Whether you prefer to hit the highway, cruise the streets, venture off-road or tackle the track, you will find it all at the Motorcycle Show – Calgary. Get a jump on the season and admire the shiny chrome, soft leather seats and latest riding technology.  Dare to dream, or choose the bike that will be parked in your garage and ready to roll once the snow melts.

No matter whether you are a die hard rider, a relative beginner, or considering experiencing the thrill of riding for the first time the Show has you covered.  There is plenty of safety gear, riding apparel, training schools, aftermarket accessories, clubs and associations to choose from.

In addition there are features, activities and events geared to riders of all ages.  She Rides Night will appeal specifically to the female riding enthusiast.  Ladies that come to the Show on Friday, January 4th after 5:00 pm will receive ½ price admission, and can enter to win a Kawasaki Versys X300, courtesy of Canadian Kawasaki.

There is something for everyone; even those that have never been on a bike.  The Strider Riding Zone focuses on those aged 18 months to 5 years, while the Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) caters to children ages 6-12, and the Ground n’ Gravity Show appeals to an all ages crowd, it is sure to entertain and captivate every member of the audience.

For those more well seasoned riders the “How to Sessions” address specific riding techniques proven effective in difficult situations.

If you are looking for another excuse to hop on your bike you can sign up to participate in variety of rides that help support local charities.  For the adventurous riders who want to satiate their wanderlust and explore, the travel and tourism area is a must see.  Destinations both near and far that cater to riders will be represented in the travel and tourism area.

Going old school has taken on a whole new meaning with the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Groups “Tour of Europe” display.  Dozens of bikes that represent the European manufacturers of yore will be on display.  The owners of these classics take great pride in restoring and maintaining these treasures and are happy to share the history and unique stories.

It is said that what you ride is a direct reflection of your personality.  This is particularly true when it comes to custom bikes.  If you crave something unique, creative or one of a kind, the Ill Fated Kustoms Handle Bar is the place to be. Check out the custom bikes on display or chill out with friends and those who share your passion in a relaxing atmosphere.

Get in on the “Double Take” draw for two Kawasaki Z125’s, courtesy of Canadian Kawasaki on Saturday.  Enter to win on site from noon to 3:45.  The draw takes place at 4:00 at the Show.
