· Guevara takes fifth Moto2™ pole of the season. Izan Guevara (Boscoscuro) claimed his fifth pole position of the season in the intermediate class at the Grand Prix of Indonesia, setting a new all-time lap record in the process. The Spaniard clocked a 1’31.963, beating the previous benchmark by almost four tenths. Álex Escrig (Forward) qualified second, while David Alonso (Kalex) completed the front row. Guevara set his record-breaking time on the standard SC0 rear tyre, while Escrig and Alonso opted for the new F0515 specification, which retains the same compound but features a different construction. · Uriarte claims third Moto3™ pole of the season. Brian Uriarte (KTM) secured his third pole position of the season in Moto3™, adding to his successes in Germany and Austria with a fastest lap of 1’36.861. The Spaniard led a KTM front row, with David Almansa second and Álvaro Carpe third. Championship leader Máximo Quiles (KTM) qualified sixth, despite setting a new all-time lap record in FP2. His 1’36.690 was more than three tenths faster than the previous benchmark of 1’37.022, set by Adrián Fernández in 2025. Uriarte and Almansa set their fastest qualifying laps on soft SC1 tyres at both the front and rear, while Carpe opted for a medium SC2 front. Quiles, meanwhile, used medium SC2 tyres at both ends in qualifying and FP2, the session in which he set the new circuit record. · Extreme temperatures. Mandalika has once again proved one of the most demanding circuits on the MotoGP™ calendar in terms of heat, with track temperatures among the highest recorded all season. Track temperatures remained above 40°C throughout the sessions held so far,starting at 41ºC in Moto3™ FP2 and climbing above 65°C during Friday afternoon’s Practice sessions and qualifying.
