Round 1 of the 2025 AMA EnduroCross Series on Saturday night marked a strong season-opener for Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Ryder LeBlond, with consistent 2-5-2 scores over the three EX Pro Class races resulting in P3 overall in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
LeBlond powered his Husqvarna FX 350 to the eighth-fastest qualifying time in the Hot Lap session, familiarizing himself with the technical terrain in the Findlay Toyota Center before the gates dropped.
A fast start and a second-place result in Moto 1 saw LeBlond begin his campaign in convincing fashion, with 5-2 scores in races two and three earning him the final position on the podium for the opening round.
LeBlond’s performance situates him well in this year’s AMA EnduroCross Series picture, which is set to span six rounds through October and November. He currently sits third overall after a strong start to the season indoors.
“It was great to kick off Round 1 of EnduroCross in Prescott Valley tonight,” commented LeBlond. “I struggled a little bit in both practice and the Hot Lap session, just getting used to the track, but luckily, a good start was possible from pretty much anywhere, and we got a good one in race one to run second all race and finish P2. Not a great start to race two, but I rebounded to fifth, and then ended with another second in the last race for third overall. It was a good start to the season – we’re always wanting those wins, but we’ll look to build from here.”
