SPRINGFIELD, IL (March 28, 2018) – AMA Pro Flat Track Rookie Class of ’79 and Friends, a non-profit charity created to aid injured flat track racers, today announced the raffle of a 2018 Indian Scout Bobber in Thunder Black Smoke with ABS. Class of ’79 will sell raffle tickets at every American Flat Track race in 2018 and online at www.amaft79.com. All proceeds raised from the raffle will be used by the charity to aid and support injured flat track racers.
Class of ’79 is a fan-based, non-profit charity created for the riders by the riders that strives to make an immediate impact on people’s lives and prevent racers from being forced to quit the flat track racing due to injury. Since 2009, Class of ’79 has raised nearly $1,000,000 which has allowed the group to help more than 100 injured riders to date.
“We are extremely grateful for Indian Motorcycle’s donation of the 2018 Scout Bobber,” said Charlie Roberts, Executive Director for Class of ’79. “The proceeds raised from this raffle alone will make an incredible impact on our efforts to aid and support injured flat track riders.”
Fans looking to support the Class of ‘79 charity and have a chance to win the 2018 Indian Scout Bobber can purchase individual tickets for $25 or five tickets for $100. Enterants can buy and enter as many tickets as they’d like, as there are no submission limits. Fans attending AFT races in 2018 can purchase raffle tickets in-person from Class of ’79 at its branded displays. For online purchases, visit www.amaft79.com and send checks or money orders payable to Class of ’79 and Friends and mail to 3989 Springer Lane, Springfield IL 62711.
