15 out of 15: wins and records in Most

For Bulega, 15 out of 15: wins and records in Most with Pirelli’s standard and development tyres

Bulega wins the Superpole Race with Pirelli standard soft SC0 and the two long races with the medium D0922 development, setting new all-time lap and race lap records. Debise scores a double in WorldSSP.

· Bulega keeps his winning streak running. In the 5th round of the FIM Superbike World Championship, held at the Most circuit, Czech Republic, Nicolò Bulega (Ducati) once again confirmed his tip-top shape form by winning all three races on the programme and remaining unbeaten since the start of the season. And the Ducati Panigale V4R remains the undisputed queen of the Championship: in addition to Bulega, all three weekend podiums went to his team-mate Iker Lecuona in second place and Yari Montella in third. Compared with Race 1, in Race 2 the D0922 remained the most widely chosen rear tyre option, and the new F0468 medium specification was adopted by 5 riders, including Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki) and Alberto Surra (Ducati), who finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

· New record-breaking SC0 soft. In the Superpole Raceeveryone raced with standard soft tyres on both axles, SC1 at the front and SC0 at the rear. The SC0 is the new soft standard for 2026, known until last year as the E0125 development specification. With this tyre, the winner Bulega set the new best race lap in 1’29.920 on lap three, improving by almost three tenths the one established by Toprak Razgatlıoğlu last year (1’30.201). In addition, this year’s race, run in 15’07.499, was more than 8 seconds faster than the 2025 race (15’15.882), for an average lap-time improvement of more than eight tenths.

· Debise and ZXMOTO do it again. After winning Race 1 yesterday, Valentin Debise won also the second race of the weekend on his ZXMOTO 800RR, finishing ahead of Turkish rider Can Öncü (Yamaha). Third place went to Oly Bayliss (Triumph). All riders went for the SC1 soft front compound, paired in the vast majority of cases with the SC0 soft rear, with the exception of Ana Carrasco (Honda) and Yuki Okamoto (Yamaha), who opted for the SC1 medium rear. Jaume Masia set the new race lap record on the Ducati Panigale V2 at 1’34.130, improving by two tenths the record he had previously set last year last year (1’34.338). In addition, this year’s Race 2 was almost 12 seconds faster than last year’s.

Records achieved in part also thanks the new soft standard SC0

“The weekend at Most proved to be a concrete example of how important our development work is. In 2025, WorldSBK riders could choose two of the options that were also available this year: the SC0 soft and the D0922 medium. However, the SC0 had not proved competitive, to the point that in the Superpole Race almost all riders had chosen the D0922, which was also used in long races.
This year, by contrast, the new 2026 standard SC0, known last season as the E0125 development specification, was the go-to option for all Superpole Race riders, which was run in conditions similar to those in 2025, and boosted both the race lap record and pace significantly.
This great outcome is also a direct benefit for motorcycle riders in general, since it has become a standard product available on the market that anyone can purchase. In parallel, the medium D0922 – obtained through intensive development work -, confirmed the excellent characteristics already shown in 2025, and was highly appreciated and effective in the two long races. In Race 2, this year’s new feature, the medium F0468 specification option, proved to be enough popular and allowed Gerloff and Surra to end the race fifth and sixth respectively, becoming a valid alternative to the better-known D0922.
Lastly, I would like to congratulate Bulega and Debise, the undisputed stars of the Czech round.”
