- All-new collections of sports, street and adventure gear tailored to Honda riders
- Partnership reflects joint passion for motorcycling from both brands
- New range of clothing will be available exclusively in Honda dealerships across Europe from March 2027
Honda, best known for its high-performance engineering and high-quality motorcycles, has today announced a strategic partnership with Ixon, a premium motorcycle apparel brand recognized for its advanced protective gear and rider-focused innovation.
The partnership brings together two brands that share a passion for performance, safety, and the culture of motorcycling. Combining Honda’s expertise in motorcycle design with Ixon’s leadership in technical riding apparel has produced a new collection of exclusive co-branded rider wear that embodies the best of both companies.
The collection, set to be available solely through Honda dealers, is topped by the Vortex 3 full leather suit, finished in the distinctive blue and red of Honda, for riders of CBR Super Sport bikes. The technical racing suit has been developed for track use, and features a MotoGP-inspired aerodynamic hump on the spine, removable mesh vest and accordion stretch zones in the shoulders, back and knees for increased comfort.
The full leather suit lines up alongside the Striker 2 jacket, a flagship roadster finished in black with flashes of red detailing, and the Odin adventure jacket, which comes in two classical colourways and is packed full of useful features, waterproofing and adjustability for the ultimate ride in everyday comfort.
The technical jacket pairs with the Odin protective slim-fit trousers, available in matching colours to the jacket, for the ultimate adventure ride outfit. Also in the Honda x Ixon partnership is the Smoton urban jacket, designed for everyday riding and again packed with practical design touches for increased comfort and practicality.
Rounding out the initial collection drop are a range of three different glove designs, in the form of the Sinergy, Air 2, and Mig 2 short-cuff riding gloves. All items in the collection have been designed to match the ergonomics, performance characteristics, and design DNA of Honda’s machines.
“Motorcycling is about the connection between rider and machine,” said Rui Rosa, Deputy General Manager, Motorcycles, Honda Motor Europe. “Partnering with Ixon allows us to extend that connection beyond the bike itself. Together, we can create equipment that enhances performance, comfort, and safety while reflecting the spirit of our brand.”
Thierry Maniguet, President and Founder of IXON, echoed this enthusiasm. “This partnership is the meeting of two obsessions: Honda builds the world’s finest motorcycles, we design the gear worthy of those who ride them. Together, we’re not just creating a collection; we’re redefining what the rider experience should be, from the machine to the skin.”
The first co-developed products from the Honda x Ixon partnership are expected to launch in March 2027, and will be exclusively available through Honda dealerships. Together, Honda and Ixon aim to set a new benchmark for collaboration between motorcycle manufacturers and rider equipment brands delivering a more integrated approach to performance, safety, and rider identity.
