New 2026 Honda Icons Return + More Tariffs + USMCA Dead?

First, the fun and exciting news. Honda is re-releasing the CB series, a UJM lineup we have all yearned for or stared at in our lives. First the 2026 Honda CB1000F. Yes, “F”, inspired by the iconic 1979 CB750F with a Fireblade engine and available in Wolf Silver Metallic plus Blue Stripe, Wolf Silver Metallic plus Grey Stripe and Graphite Black with orange stripe. Woah. Might just be my next motorcycle I can tell you that! And  you can read A LOT more about it here on Total Motorcycle. Very exciting news and if we get the full CB line (a CB200-400, CB500-750 and even the big CB1300, wow!). And with that, we see the new 2026 Honda CB125F and 2026 Honda CB650R models!

Plus, a lot more new 2026 Honda motorcycle models have arrived as well. The Rebel series is back with a brand new model, the 2026 Honda Rebel 300 E-Clutch  and yes, it’s only available as an E-Clutch. Now, I’ll be frank, buy the non E-Clutch 2025 version (or older) unless you are wanting a scooter experience over a motorcycle one. The E-Clutch technology, while innovative and can “further lowering the barrier to entry for new riders” has a real pushback from riders and you’ll find the resale market for E-Clutch bikes to be challenging (price has moved up 10% as well). Ok, disappointing news behind us now, we have the return of the 2026 Honda Rebel 1100, 2026 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT, 2026 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT SE, 2026 Honda Rebel 1100T, 2026 Honda Rebel 1100T DCT, 2026 Honda Rebel 500 SE, 2026 Honda Rebel 500, and late 2025 releases 2025.5 Honda Rebel 500 and 2025.5 Honda Rebel 300. Again, I’m not sure why Honda suddenly thinks riders don’t want to shift their motorcycles anymore, but I’m seeing more DCT’s in their lineup and less manual choices. Is that Honda’s answer to new riders getting into the sport? Or is it Honda’s eBike EV electric mandates coming into play? Your guess is as good as mine!

Ok, what’s next? The 2026 Honda NT1100, 2026 Honda NT1100 DCT, 2026 Honda NT1100 DCT Electronic Suspension bikes! Argh, more DCT stuff. At least riders still get 1 without DCT as an option. “With this combination of wide-ranging abilities and rich specification, already over 20,000 NT1100s have been sold, and it was Europe’s most popular tourer in 2023, 2024 and 2025. For 2025 the NT1100 received major upgrades to engine performance, practicality, and long-range comfort, as well as the introduction of an Electronic Suspension option. And, in the process, cemented its place in Honda’s large range as one of motorcycling’s ultimate all-rounders.”

For those big spender rice racers, Honda has released quite a unique, exclusive and expensive model, the 2026 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP Dean Harrison Replica. While no US/Canada prices has been released (there’s only 12 of them so good luck anyways), it’s £26,749 (~$35,650 USD) and sadly I doubt more than a handful of riders will ever see one on the road. A detailed reproduction of the bike Dean rode to two Superstock victories at this year’s Isle of Man TT. “The 2025 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is a bike built to win out of the box or amaze on the open road. Loaded with MotoGP aero, electronics and chassis tech its four-cylinder engine, with 2-motor Throttle by Wire control, delivers major mid-range drive plus huge top-end power. Öhlins Smart Electronic Control (S-EC03) suspension and Brembo Stylema R four-piston front brake calipers are top-draw, as is Cornering ABS with RACE setting. All in all, the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP starts out as one incredible motorcycle.”

Back to the world of affordability. We have the 2026 Honda CBR1000RR ABS, 2026 Honda CBR1000RR, 2026 Honda CBR600RR ABS, 2026 Honda CBR600RR and 2026 Honda CBR650R and 2025.5 Honda CBR650R (Late 2025.5) models. Yes, you’ll need to know how to shift your own gears to ride one of these beauties (at least for now) and put gas in it too (again, at least for now).

Ending off, we have MORE TARIFFS coming in thanks to Donald Trump’s USA hinge moment. Now I’ll keep the politics out of this one (even though it’s 99.9999% politics) and give you the 0.0001% goods.

New and Used prices will be going up. Availability will be going down. New parts will be either hard, expensive or near impossible to get. All that equals job losses, companies not selling products in the USA and Canada and times that suck and require sacrifice. There. No politics mentioned.

Also I expect trade between the two closest and more dependent economies in North America (3 if you count Mexico) to be quite strained moving forward. CUSMA or USMCA and/or NAFTA as you know it may be dead based on what has happened late last week with US / Canada trade talks terminated for the foreseeable future. That’s 85% of goods moving between the two countries that are currently NOT SUBJECT to TARIFFS to suddenly be subject by June/July 2026. Current tariff rates late week were raised on Canada by an additional +10% across the board to 20-60% on all NON-CUSMA goods. Buckle up butter cup no matter what side of the boarder you are on as Canadian goods and American goods availability will drastically drop on either side of the boarder and we are just getting started in this economic trade war of self-destruction as other countries laugh at our neighborly stupidity. Oh darn, I got a little political there, sorry, it’s a hot button topic, I’d hate to see people lose their jobs, savings and livelihoods.

Speaking of jobs, savings and livelihoods, DO check out more of Total Motorcycle. We are in the fall season and as usual traffic does decrease (hard to ride in the snow), so any additional support would be appreciated!

2026 Honda CB1000F

2026 Honda CB1000F

In short… A new, retro-inspired performance machine with a character all of its own – the CB1000F is an easy-handling, big naked that ticks all the right boxes thanks to its evocative styling, rich specification sheet and dynamics that pack a punch thanks to its Fireblade-derived engine.

Inspired by the iconic 1979 CB750F, now reborn with contemporary muscle
and tech. Explore the unparalleled riding feeling and unique sound of the CB1000F.

Honda continues the CB legend with the introduction of the CB1000F, a bike inspired by icons of motorsport, sporting clean lines and bold graphics that encapsulates the 1980s. Based on the acclaimed CB1000 Hornet platform, its inline four-cylinder engine has been completely retuned, moving power output to the bottom and mid-range, with off-beat feel and character. 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD front forks and Pro-Link rear shock deliver a high-quality ride thanks with a long subframe enhancing comfort for both rider and pillion. Braking is dealt with courtesy of four-piston radial-mount calipers that bite 310mm floating discs, with Cornering ABS control keeping things in check. A six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) all riding modes alongside Throttle By Wire (TBW). A five-inch TFT screen offers Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, and ignition operation is through Honda Smart Key. Three evocative paint options will be available: Wolf Silver Metallic plus Blue Stripe, Wolf Silver Metallic plus Grey Stripe and Graphite Black.

For Honda, the letters CB have a storied, 65-year history, going back to the original 1959 CB92 Benly. Introduced the same year as Honda began racing at the TT, the Benly was Honda’s ‘Super Sports Bike’ that brought clean styling, sporty ergonomics, an eager engine with a sonorous soundtrack and keen handling – a template that still holds true. Each generation of CB has defined an era of performance and, for 2026, there is a brand-new CB in the range.

The CB1000F takes inspiration from the CB750F of the 1980s – an advanced, iconic bike that powered Freddie Spencer through the closely-fought American AMA Championships – and wraps the pure fun of riding into an evocative, retro-cool (and supremely characterful) four-cylinder package. Built on the CB1000 Hornet platform – and wearing a next generation F designation – it adds premium equipment with a broader performance envelope to deliver wide-ranging pleasure, from urban to open roads.

Developed under the conceptual target of creating the ‘Best Balanced Roadster’ the CB1000F handles like a middleweight but with big bike feel. And, with the ‘80s now proving such an influential decade on clothing, music, style, and more, the CB1000F is very much a bike ready for today.

The CB1000F takes the street fighting CB1000 Hornet (whose package of engine and handling performance and outstanding value for money has completely reset expectations across the naked segment) as a reference point and builds on some shared fundamentals to create a soul and identity all of its own.

First up is the engine – heart and soul of any motorcycle. Honda’s development engineers have added real off-beat character and feel to the 1000cc, four-cylinder powerplant via inlet, cam timing and exhaust revisions. Output has also been adjusted and moved down the rev-range; maximum power of 91kW arrives @ 9,000rpm, with 103Nm torque @ 8,000rpm to provide more low- and mid-range push, alongside gearbox ratios enhancing low-speed acceleration and high-speed cruising.

Then there’s the look, of course. The bike’s swooping style is pure ‘80s, a decade making a huge comeback over 40 years on – influencing popular culture in everything from music, style, clothing and more. The clean design of the CB1000F focuses on the essentials, with a strong connecting line flowing from the tank, through the side covers and seat into the rear cowl. The single round headlamp is flanked by twin horns, and the bold tank and side cover graphics are inspired by Freddie Spencer’s high-barred AMA bike. The diamond frame doubles as a design feature, with a bespoke subframe for more seat room.

41mm Showa SFF-BP USD front forks and Showa rear shock deliver adjustable, high-quality suspension control, with bespoke settings and Pro-Link rear suspension for a supple all-round ride. Four-piston radial-mount front brake calipers – with bespoke tune – work 310mm floating discs while cast aluminum wheels mount 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 front and rear tires.

A six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is now at the center of ride control. Throttle By Wire (TBW) delivers three default riding modes with preset combinations of Power, Engine Brake, Wheelie Control and HSTC settings, plus USER option allowing the rider to choose their own preferred settings. The optically bonded five-inch TFT screen offers intuitive usability, clarity even in bright light, and Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity through the simple switchgear on the left handlebar. A Honda Smart Key operates the ignition switch.

The CB1000F will be available in a range of colour options:

  • *NEW* Wolf Silver Metallic with Blue Stripe
  • *NEW* Wolf Silver Metallic with Grey Stripe
  • *NEW* Graphite Black

ABOUT THE MAN

Dean Harrison, originally from Bradford and now Manx-domiciled, was born in 1989 and has raced since he was 18 years old. He’s known as a roads specialist – it’s in the blood, his father Conrad Harrison won a sidecar TT in 2014 – with 5 TT wins to his name, and has garnered success at the North West 200, Ulster GP and Oliver’s Mount. But 2025 has also seen his stock rise sharply on Britain’s short circuits, in the Supersport class aboard Honda Racing’s CBR600RR. It’s never a straightforward transition between real roads racing and BSB, but Harrison makes it look easy. And that’s down to talent.

Neil Fletcher, Head of Racing and Development, commented:

“It’s a genuine privilege to be involved in this project, which marks a fitting tribute to Dean’s  outstanding performance at this year’s Isle of Man TT. We received an incredible response to a similar initiative celebrating John McGuinness’s 100th TT start, and I’m confident that the 12 fortunate customers who secure one of these exclusive Dean Harrison replica Superstock Fireblades will be absolutely thrilled with their purchase.”

2026 Honda CB650R

2026 HONDA CBR650R

The 2024 update to the CBR650R evolved its race-inspired style with an aggressive update from headlight to taillight. It introduced a 5-inch TFT screen with Honda RoadSync connectivity, operated by a simple to use 4-way toggle switch. Engine performance was unchanged at 70kW power and 63Nm torque, with an A2 option also available. The CBR650R alongside the naked CB650R – were the first Hondas to be offered with the option of Honda E-Clutch technology, which gives the rider choice of automatic clutch operation by simply using the shift pedal. Chassis specification included Showa SFF-BP USD forks, dual four-piston radial mount front calipers and 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 tyre combination. For 2026, new contemporary colours reinvigorate the range and bring the sports bike right up to date.

Introduction

Honda’s fully faired CBR650F, launched in 2014 alongside the naked CB650F, provided a healthy slice of four-cylinder middleweight performance, very much at the sporty end of the ‘sports touring’ spectrum. Five years later, the CBR650F became the CBR650R, the upgrade from ‘F’ to ‘R’ indicating an even more potent shot of sporty ability designed to be explored, used and enjoyed on the street.

In the process of its transformation the CBR650R became, deliberately, a rare breed: a four-cylinder sports bike that provides similar pleasure, enjoyment and adrenaline to an RR machine, yet with enough practicality – and sensible running costs – to make it a viable option as day-to-day transport in addition to weekend fun.

It’s a direction that was well received. In 2021, the CBR650R was the best-selling sports bike in Europe as it continued its development curve with user-driven detail improvements and a major upgrade for the front suspension. And those revisions resonated with customers, with the CBR650R retaining that top selling spot since 2021.

2024 was an important year for the CBR650R with it gaining style and functionality upgrades. It was this bike – alongside its naked sibling, the CB650R – that launched Honda’s pioneering Honda E-Clutch technology, designed to make motorcycling, from beginner right through to expert, even more enjoyable and exciting.

For 2026, a revised colour palette introduces new contemporary hues to keeps the CBR650R fresh, at the top of the super sports market.

Model Overview

The CBR650R’s stylish lines were overhauled for 2024, with a new headlight, fairing, rider/pillion seat, tail unit and taillight inject sharper sporting energy.

It also gained a five-inch full colour TFT screen, optically bonded for readability on bright days and featuring Honda RoadSync connectivity. Managed by an easy-to-use backlit four-way lefthand toggle switch riders can now enjoy on-screen, turn-by-turn navigation and other smartphone features.

Performance from the four-cylinder engine remained unchanged; 70kw peak power with 63Nm are fun figures to play with, and the classic in-line 4 cylinder ‘pick-up’ and high-revving top end power are longstanding Honda calling cards. A 35kW option is available for A2 license holders.

2024 also saw the introduction of the optional Honda E-Clutch technology, a revolutionary take on transmissions, which removes the need for the rider to use the clutch lever to make a shift either up or down the gearbox.

A steel diamond frame provides core rigidity while 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD front forks and Showa rear shock deliver high-quality suspension control. Four-piston radial-mount front brake calipers work 310mm floating discs and cast aluminium wheels mount 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 front and rear tires.

The 2026 CBR650R will be available in two colour options:

  • **NEW** Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic with fluorescent yellow accent
  • Grand Prix Red Tricolour

Rebel 300 E-Clutch Headlines 2026 Honda Cruiser

American Honda today announced its 2026 Rebel lineup, reinforcing the model family’s position as one of the most popular and versatile names in the cruiser category. Long recognized for combining timeless styling with rider-friendly performance, the Rebel models continue to attract new motorcyclists while also appealing to seasoned riders.

For the new model year, the spotlight is on the Rebel 300, which becomes the third powersports model to feature Honda’s innovative E-Clutch technology, further lowering the barrier to entry for new riders, while enhancing convenience for all. Rounding out the lineup, the Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100 return for 2026, delivering the performance, reliability and character that have made the Rebel nameplate a mainstay of Honda’s on-road lineup.

“The Rebel brand has been a cornerstone of Honda’s on-road lineup throughout its long history, and it continues to resonate with riders of varying ages and backgrounds,” said Colin Miller, Manager of Public Relations at American Honda. “The 2026 Rebel 300—now with E-Clutch technology—builds on that legacy by combining timeless design with cutting-edge innovation, while the Rebel 500 and Rebel 1100 platforms carry forward the same trusted qualities that have made Honda’s cruisers so popular.”

2026 Rebel 300 E-Clutch
When it comes to introducing new riders to on-road motorcycling, few models can compete with Honda’s Rebel 300. Thanks to its unintimidating nature, low seat height, feathery overall weight, controllable power, fun style and affordable MSRP, this little cruiser has long served as an entry point for folks looking to dip a toe into the excitement of riding. Consequently, it makes sense that the Rebel 300 is a common choice for riding schools like the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic RiderCourse. For the 2026 model year, the popular model is even more approachable, as it comes with Honda E-Clutch technology, which is designed to make motorcycling even more enjoyable and exciting.

2026 Honda NT1100

2026 HONDA NT1100 & NT1100 Electronic Suspension

The NT1100 defined a new breed of Honda tourer when introduced as 22 year model, offering comfort, agility and hugely enjoyable performance. Building on its success, the NT received a major upgrade for 2025 with an emphasis on further increasing rider comfort. The twin-cylinder engine received a mid-range performance boost, while a six-axis IMU added extra precision to several electronic rider aids. A new variant, the NT1100 Electronic Suspension, was also added to the range that added a sophisticated ride. The NT’s sleek fairing was redrawn with sharper, more aggressive styling and topped by a revised height-adjustable screen that can now be operated one handed. The upper and lower wind deflectors were also reprofiled to ensure greater high-speed aerodynamic efficiency and outstanding weather protection. The NT1100’s lighting was also updated with twin LED headlights that integrate DRLs and indicators for increased visibility and safety. The rear of the front mudguard was extended 150mm for extra weather protection, a larger seat increased comfort and both standard-fit panniers were increased in size to offer larger internal volume. For 2026, the NT1100 and NT1100 Electronic Suspension retain all of the plus points that made them so popular across Europe and gain a new colour option, ensuring that Europe’s best-selling tourer remains at the top of its game.

Introduction

In a motorcycling landscape full of adventure-focussed bikes, the last decade has seen a limited number of choices available for riders looking for performance, handling, long range comfort, and technology but not necessarily the image or physical dimensions of ‘adventure’ bikes.

The NT1100 was introduced for 2022 precisely to increase those options. It’s a straightforward touring machine, with a full feature list and a sporty edge to its performance – the sort of bike that deals with the weekday commute efficiently and is also ready for an extended tour fully loaded. Designed to draw those with a long memory of similar Honda machines of the past, but also attract a much younger rider, it employs the frame and characterful twin-cylinder engine of the CRF1100L Africa Twin as a base, ensuring characterful, engaging performance – and packs in features and technology that broaden any motorcycle’s appeal.

With this combination of wide-ranging abilities and rich specification, already over 20,000 NT1100s have been sold, and it was Europe’s most popular tourer in 2023, 2024 and 2025. For 2025 the NT1100 received major upgrades to engine performance, practicality, and long-range comfort, as well as the introduction of an Electronic Suspension option. And, in the process, cemented its place in Honda’s large range as one of motorcycling’s ultimate all-rounders.

For 2026, a new colour option for the NT1100 and NT1100 Electronic Suspension models heightens its appeal and keeps the bike fresh.

Model Overview

Comfortable, agile, enjoyable. That’s the NT1100 in a nutshell.

Its 1,084cc parallel twin cylinder engine was revised for 2025 – via intake, combustion and exhaust development – to produce 7% more low- and mid-range torque with no loss of peak power. A six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) was also added to control not only the three-level HSTC with integrated Wheelie Control, but also Cornering ABS and Rear Lift Control. It offers three default riding modes – URBAN, RAIN, and TOUR – with preset combinations of Power and Engine Braking, plus two USER modes allowing the rider to select their own preferred permutations.

The NT1100’s sleek styling was also updated with a harder, more defined edge and refined to deliver efficient aerodynamic performance around a riding position tailored for touring. The dual headlights were reprofiled to feature a unique DRL signature with integrated indicators giving a sleeker look and increasing safety through improved visibility. The upper and lower wind deflectors were redesigned to work together to protect the rider while the adjustable screen was redesigned to be operated by the rider, one-handed, from a seated position. The seat was also redesigned to improved comfort, whilst the standard-fit panniers were increased in volume – to take a full-face helmet each – and the front mudguard was extended to offer more useful weather proofing.

2025 also saw the introduction of the NT1100 Electric Suspension variant, which features Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa-EERA) suspension. Offered alongside the standard Showa suspension-equipped ‘standard’ NT1100, the advanced Showa-EERA offers optimised damping in all riding conditions and situations, as well as the ability to adjust rear spring preload on the move.

As before, the steel semi-double cradle frame employs a relatively short wheelbase and sharp steering geometry. Dual 310mm front discs are paired with 4-piston radial-mount callipers; tires are sized 120/70-17 front and 180/55-17 rear.

A 6.5-inch TFT touch screen provides full colour, customizable displays and offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Cruise control, upgraded heated grips, ACC and USB charging sockets, self-cancelling indicators and Emergency Stop Signals (ESS) are also standard fit, as is a center stand.

Honda’s proven six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) was also updated for 2025, redeveloped to improve low-speed feel and was linked to the IMU for more intuitive gear shifting while cornering.

The 2026 refresh will see the NT1100 and NT1100 Electronic Suspension available in the following colour options:

  • **NEW** Iridium Gray Metallic
  • Mat Warm Ash Metallic
  • Pearl Hawkseye Blue

2026 Honda NT1100

Europe’s best-selling tourer stays fresh for 2026 with new colour line-up

  • New shade available on both NT1100 and NT1100 Electronic Suspension models
  • NT1100 remains Europe’s best-selling tourer in 2025, with a 48% segment share

Following its thorough-going refresh last year, Honda is pleased to announce a new colour line-up for its ‘New Tourer’ – the NT1100.

First introduced for 2022, the NT1100 is a timeless combination of engaging performance, sweet handling and long-range comfort, and is packed with a raft of the latest technology to offer a contemporary take on classic tourer qualities.

This combination has proved immensely popular across Europe, gaining the NT1100 the number one spot in the touring category since 2023. In total, over 20,000 have found homes in Europe, with over 5,000 sold in 2025 so far – almost half of all tourers sold across the continent.

The 2025 redesign was comprehensive, with the NT1100 receiving updates to styling, performance and handling. Headlines included Daytime Running Lights complete with subtly integrated indicators, a refined and improved adjustable screen, 7% more low- and mid-range torque from the proven 1,084cc parallel twin cylinder engine and the introduction of Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa-EERA) suspension working through a 6-axis IMU.

Paired with a comprehensive spec list that includes a full colour 6.5-inch TFT touch screen with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, upgraded heated grips, ACC and USB charging sockets, self-cancelling indicators, Emergency Stop Signals (ESS) and a center stand, and it’s not hard to see why the NT1100 is Europe’s best-selling tourer.

For 2026, NT1100 and NT1100 Electronic Suspension’s revised colour line-up will be comprised of the following three options:

  • **NEW** Iridium Gray Metallic
  • Mat Warm Ash Metallic
  • Pearl Hawkseye Blue
