2027 Kawasaki KX112: POWER TO PERFORM.

Introducing the 2027 Kawasaki KX112…

Prep for the leap to full-size motocross bikes on the capable KX™112 supermini. With a large 112cc 2-stroke engine combined with a championship-proven chassis, this factory-inspired race machine gives young racers the tools to take their racing careers to the next level and the confidence to push even harder.

The Kawasaki KX™112 motorcycle is engineered for young racers seeking increased power and performance as they progress through the highly competitive Supermini ranks. At its core is a liquid-cooled, two-stroke 112cc single-cylinder engine featuring a piston-reed valve intake, Kawasaki Integrated Power-valve System (KIPS), and a 28mm carburetor, delivering strong low-end torque, crisp throttle response, and a hard-hitting top-end pull. A longer connecting rod design helps improve overall efficiency and smooth power delivery, while durable internal components and a Nikasil-plated cylinder enhance longevity under demanding race conditions. The high-tensile steel perimeter frame is designed to provide optimal rigidity and precise handling characteristics, complemented by lightweight components that contribute to improved agility. Large-diameter wheels – 19” front and 16” rear – offer increased stability and a confident feel at higher speeds, making the KX112 an ideal platform for advancing riders.

The chassis package is built to deliver race-ready control and composure across challenging terrain. A fully adjustable 43mm KYB inverted front fork with Kashima-coated outer tubes provides smooth, consistent damping and strong bottoming resistance, while the Uni-Trak® rear suspension system offers progressive action with full adjustability, including high- and low-speed compression, rebound damping, and spring preload. Extended rear wheel travel enhances bump absorption and stability, allowing riders to maintain pace over rough conditions. Braking performance is handled by petal disc brakes paired with KX250-style Nissin components, delivering powerful, consistent stopping force with precise modulation. Ergonomics are designed to support a wide range of riders, featuring a slim interface, adjustable ERGO-FIT handlebar positioning, and wider footpegs for improved comfort and control, enabling racers to fine-tune their setup and perform with confidence on race day.

CHASSIS PERFORMANCE
A COMPETITIVE EDGE
A large 43mm inverted front fork features both adjustable compression and rebound damping for a precise suspension setup, while the fully adjustable Uni-Trak® rear suspension is just as versatile. Larger brake rotors along with Dunlop’s latest Geomax MX34 tires offer enhanced grip and stopping power.

BIG-BIKE STYLE SUSPENSION
The highly rigid, fully adjustable KYB 43mm inverted front fork on the KX™112 motorcycle provides excellent damping characteristics and bottoming resistance, allowing riders to attack the track without sacrificing ride comfort. Rebound damping adjust gives riders the ability to precisely refine their settings to match track conditions and personal preferences. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension is fully adjustable with both low- and high-speed compression adjusters. The 12-in rear-wheel travel matches that of full-size KX™ models, contributing to greater control at higher speeds and improved bump absorption.

POWERFUL BRAKES
Just like the larger KX™ models, the KX™112 motorcycle is equipped with petal disc brakes front and rear. The front brake disc diameter is 240mm and the rear brake disc diameter is 220mm. The master cylinder and caliper body are the same Nissin units used on the KX™250.
