For tailored wind protection the XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ is equipped with an electronically adjustable windscreen that provides 95mm of stepless adjustment – while the special designed front flasher housing and front spoiler also reduce wind buffeting. Together with the adjustable handlebars and spacious footboards, it’s easy for XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ riders to achieve the ideal set up.
The wide-screen dash features an easy-to-read colour 4.2-inch TFT display alongside a 2.8-inch LCD screen. Full connectivity gives you access to free Garmin navigation* via smartphone as well as calls, messages, music and more. And with traction control, ABS and an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ is fully equipped for every ride! (*The navigation app will not be available in some countries. Bold XMAX Styling
Virtually every part of the XMAX’s sleek and sporty exterior is designed to create a compact and visually impressive machine. Radical X-shaped LED headlights and taillights complement the aggressive styling and instantly distinguish the XMAX from anything else on the road. High-mount LED front indicators add to the streamlined look, while seat design provides comfort and easy leg reach to the ground.
Advanced 292cc Engine
Featuring technology used in Yamaha’s high-performance sport bikes, the XMAX’s 292cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder Blue Core engine delivers smooth, tractable power. The cylinder is crafted from Yamaha’s DiASil aluminum for excellent heat dissipation, with a lightweight forged piston and forged crankshaft. A counterbalancer ensures minimal vibration while the offset cylinder layout and semi-dry-sump lubrication system help reduce friction and drag inside the engine.
Electronically Adjustable Windscreen
The XMAX comes equipped with an electronically adjustable windscreen for enhanced rider comfort and improved style. The screen offers nearly four inches of stepless, vertical adjustment allowing riders of different heights to precisely dial in their preferred windscreen position. Windscreen adjustments can be made on-the-fly via a convenient control switch located on the left handlebar switchgear.
Integrated Instrument Panel
The 2027 XMAX features an advanced instrument panel that integrates a 4.2-inch TFT screen and a 3.2-inch LCD screen into a single interface for a sleek unified look with enhanced visibility.
Yamaha Y-Connect Smartphone Connectivity
Riders can connect their smartphone directly to the XMAX via the free-of-charge Yamaha Y-Connect app, enabling a wide-range of convenient capabilities including phone and music control, access to extensive vehicle information, along with a full Garmin turn-by-turn navigation system facilitated through Garmin’s StreetCross app. Y-Connect rider selections are made via intuitive handlebar-mounted switchgear and displayed on the TFT screen.
Smart Key System
The XMAX comes equipped with Yamaha’s Smart Key system, eliminating the need to use a traditional key to access the machine. Starting the bike, accessing the storage compartments and fuel tank, and locking the handlebar can all be done remotely using the proximity Smart Key.

Electrically adjustable screen
MAX models are renowned for their extremely comfortable ride quality, and the XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ is equipped with an electronically adjustable screen that gives effective wind protection. With 95mm of range, this screen can be raised and lowered at the push of a switch on the left handlebar to suit different riding styles and physiques. The integrated flashers are also designed to give efficient wind protection for the rider’s arms, and the fairing nose and spoiler are designed to help eliminate wind buffeting.

Smartphone connectivity
When you’re riding the XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ it’s easy to stay connected with friends, family and work colleagues via the free MyRide App. Your smartphone and the machine establish a Bluetooth connection to receive calls and messages – as well as listen to music* and access a wide range of information and more through the 4.2-inch colour TFT display. High-mounted front flashers
The high-mounted flashers are positioned to be clearly visible to other road users when you’re filtering through dense traffic conditions. The covers surrounding the flashers are closely integrated with the electronically adjustable screen for effective wind protection for the rider’s arms.
Full LED lighting with ESS
Just about everywhere you look on the XMAX 300 Tech MAX+’s you will see further evidence of its premium specification. A prime example of this Sport Scooter’s high build quality is the X-shape LED headlight and LED position lights. Twin LED taillights with integral rear LED flashers incorporate an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) that activates all four flashers when your deceleration is detected as being faster than a normal situation.
Comfortable ergonomics and leather style seat cover
The combination of a natural riding position with a sculpted dual seat, large footboard area and tall electric screen ensure superb comfort – whether you’re going solo or carrying a passenger. And another Tech MAX+ exclusive is the seat’s graphite accent stitching, leather style seat cover and leather style compartment lid covers.
Storage for 2 helmets
With this Sport Scooter you can expect premium style with everyday functionality, and the spacious storage compartment under the seat can accommodate 2 helmets* when parked. Traction control system (TCS)
XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ is equipped with a refined Traction Control System that instantly reduces driving force if rear wheel spin is detected. The system has been programmed with gentle intervention characteristics, giving a greater sense of confidence and controllability when you’re riding on wet or slippery surfaces – making every ride more enjoyable.
Smart Key keyless ignition
Anything that makes each day simpler has got to be good! Keyless ignition allows you to unlock and start your XMAX 300 Tech MAX+ and also enables access to the fuel and storage compartments as long as you’re carrying the Yamaha Smart Key. You can also locate your scooter in a busy car park by pressing the Smart Key’s remote button – and a USB Type C socket powers and charges devices.
