From front fender to muffler end cap the 2008 Yamaha TT-R125 has been totally restyled to look just like one of our legendary YZ competition motocrossers. Even the new flat design “gripper” seat looks like it is right off a YZ. Add a new 31mm front fork for improved suspension performance and you got one hot looking recreational off road machine.

We guarantee the grins will be from ear-to-ear. The revised 2008 TT-R125 … a great way to discover the sport of off road motorcycling.

With 17″ front and 14″ rear wheels, the TT-R125 allows most riders to get their feet comfortably on the ground. With an all new body, seat and larger fork, the TT-R is ready to handle the toughest trail. Fun is the name of the game and TT-R125 delivers it big time. Dependable low maintenance engine and quiet sound levels will keep parents and neighbors smiling. The TT-R125 offers the lowest seat height and lightest weight of the models in our TT-R125 family.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Adult supervision and proper protective riding gear, including a helmet, are a must when a youngster is operating a TT-R125.

 

FEATURES:

Potent, air-cooled, 124cc, SOHC, 2-valve, 4-stroke powerplant produces broad torquey power for maximum, novice friendly off-road fun.

Lightweight crankshaft means fast response.

Internal engine counterbalancer reduces vibration for maximum rider comfort.

New silent design cam chain reduces weight and mechanical noise.

Automatic cam chain tensioner means minimal maintenance, longer engine life and reduced mechanical noise.

Revised Mikuni VM20 carburetor ensures crisp, dependable throttle response and great fuel economy. New jetting means fast starts and improved drivability. A new pull – pull dual throttle cable system is used.

Easy-access, tools-free, washable, foam air filter adds extra convenience and reduced tune-up costs.

Smooth-shifting, YZ-inspired, 5-speed transmission with heavy-duty manual clutch

CDI ignition system produces a hot spark for sure starts and never needs maintenance.

Conventional kick starter allows hassle-free restarting in gear.

Revised lightweight, upswept exhaust system provides quiet operation, a screen type spark arrestor to protect Mother Nature and a stylish new end cap. Heat shields protect rider form hot components.

Rugged, plastic engine skid plate

Rigid, single-tube, diamond-type, steel frame features a compact 1,250mm wheelbase for quick, responsive steering and agile handling.

Rugged, box-section, steel swingarm features easy-to-use, eccentric chain adjusters.

All new 31mm Showa front fork assembly with 180mm (7.1″) of wheel travel provides plush, confidence-inspiring control over rough terrain. Fork settings have been revised for improved suspension function and great rider comfort.

Fork boots ensure fork seal and stanchion tube protection from mud and dirt grit.

Monocross link, single shock rear suspension delivers progressive performance to smooth out rugged trails. Spring preload is adjustable to suit rider’s weight and trail conditions. Rear wheel travel is 160mm (6.3″).

Front and rear drum brakes deliver strong, dependable stopping power.

Low 775mm (30.5″) seat height

265mm (10.4″) of ground clearance creates a handling-enhancing low centre of gravity and lets most riders to put both feet down for added confidence.

Smaller 17″ front and 14″ rear wheels inspire greater rider confidence by lowering the centre of gravity and reducing seat height.

New 6.1 liter black plastic fuel tank is designed to allow easy rider movements. This new tank features a special “fluorination surface treatment” which reduces fuel permeation for improved environmental protection. The fuel line and tank vent hose are made of “fluororubber” to also reduce the escape of fuel vapors into the atmosphere.

Knobby tires offer superb traction in the dirt.

All new YZ-F inspired body work … just like the parts found on our competition YZ series ! New, more stylish body components include; front number plate, front and rear fenders, side covers and muffler end cap. We have even added YZ style rad shrouds. This new “slim design” bodywork allows for fast, easy rider movements.

All new flat YZ-style seat features a “gripper” cover like the bigger YZs for great control. The seat foam stiffness has been increased for improved rider comfortable. The new flat design allows easy rider movements.

Motocross-style handlebar with crossbar for added strength.

Large, folding, serrated foot pegs provide excellent footing even in wet or muddy conditions.

Convenient, handlebar-mounted choke knob

Folding, serrated brake pedal and shifter tips resist damage.

Plastic chain guard

Brake and clutch lever covers help reduce dirt and mud build-up.

Convenient lift holes in side cover makes lifting the bike easier.
