2018 Kawasaki KX65 Totalmotorcycle.com Key Features

The Kawasaki KX™ motocross lineup is ingrained with a long list of successes that has stemmed from building champions since the start. The entire lineup returns for 2018 with models to build future champions.

The Kawasaki Team Green™ racing team has been the dominant force in amateur racing for more than 35 years, providing contingency and trackside support to racers. As a result, Kawasaki has relied on the aspiring young stars to provide input and to help develop winning products across its lineup.

Team Green was founded in 1981 and has played an instrumental role in Kawasaki’s industry-leading support program, helping many of the motocross and supercross stars of today reach the pinnacle of the sport. Amateur racers purchasing a Kawasaki KX motocross bike can gain access to the same support received by champions such as Jeremy McGrath and Ryan Villopoto.

Utilizing the Team Green racing program, a trackside support system consisting of more than 50 local, regional, and amateur motocross and off-road events across the country has been put in place. There, Kawasaki technicians and race transporters can be found with critical parts and technical assistance to all riders.

From their first ride to lifting the trophy, legends choose KX – Created to dominate and built for winners, the KX65 and new KX85 are competition ready machines designed to encourage the green shoots of youth talent allowing it to blossom into full-blown race wins and Championship success.
