2017 Yamaha Raider on www.Totalmotorcycle.com

The Yamaha Raider®, part of the Star® Cruiser Line, is the ultimate marriage of chopper-inspired style and incredible 1854cc air-cooled V-twin performance.

You are looking at a special generation of custom cruisers. A breed that stands apart. Check out the incredible attention to detail. From front to back, the Raider is loaded with “custom” inspired parts. Stretched out fork, fat rear tire, low seat and an aggressive, slammed riding position. The Raider features more black parts than the S version. The Raider not only looks good, it offers an incredible riding experience too.

High-performance, 1854cc (113 cubic inch) air-cooled, long-stroke, OHV, 4 valves per cylinder, 48°, V-twin powerplant produces massive torque and class leading acceleration from very low rpms.

Maximum torque occurs at 2,500 rpm while maximum power occurs at 4,500 rpm, providing exciting acceleration with great pulse and torque feel.

Get some attitude

Take one look at this radical cruiser and you’ll see that it’s something very special. With a seriously raked out front end and big V-twin engine, the XVS1300 Custom comes with authentic chopper style that puts it in a class of its own. And whichever way you look at it, this bike has got some serious attitude.

Equipped with an ultra low seat and pull back handlebars, the long and low chassis is built for easy handling around town and great high speed stability – while the high-tech 1,304cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine packs a mighty punch that’s built to move you like nothing else.

And with its lightweight wheels and low profile tyres, the XVS1300 Custom is ready to roll.

Note: The Yamaha Raider is the XVS1300 Custom in Europe.

2017 Yamaha Raider www.Totalmotorcycle.com Key Features

•Form and Function
The Raider® was inspired by the custom chopper movement, but since it’s a Star, it had to also handle, stop and go.
•Kicked-out Front Fork
A 6-degree yoke angle—the first ever on a Star® motorcycle—makes it possible to achieve that custom raked-out look as well as neutral handling and straight-line cruisability combining a 33-degree rake plus 6 degrees yoke angle gives the Raider a total rake of 39 degrees and 102mm of trail.
•Stylish Custom Wheels
Custom 5-spoke aluminum wheels carry a 120/70 profile, 21-inch tire up front, and a wide, 210/40-18 radial out back—the tallest and widest ever on a Star.
•Real Steel Fenders
No cheap plastic fenders here—this authentic cruiser has real steel fenders customizers love. Classic belt drive, too.
•Ready to Customize
Get started on your own customization. The Star® Accessories Catalog is packed full of high-quality parts that invite Star owners to fully express their individuality.
•Ready to Travel
Estimated 42 mpg* means this cruiser can go the distance between fill-ups.
