Weekend Motorcycle Racing Action: June 15-16: MotoGP – AMA – WorldSBK – BSB

Team Suzuki Press Office – June 12. 

The third weekend of June will see Team SUZUKI ECSTAR riders Alex Rins and Joan Mir in action at the Catalunya MotoGP in Spain for round 7 of the series on the GSX-RR, joined by Suzuki MotoGP test rider Sylvain Guintoli, along with Yoshimura Suzuki’s Toni Elias and Josh Herrin racing at round 5 of the AMA/ MotoAmerica Superbike series in America on the GSX-R1000.

In the UK, Buildbase Suzuki’s Bradley Ray, Luke Stapleford and Richard Cooper take to the Brands Hatch GP circuit for round 4 of British Superbikes and Superstock 1000 championships on their GSX-R1000 race machinery, while back in America, the JGRMX Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing team are at the Highpoint national for round 4 of the AMA Motocross series with Justin Hill, Alex Martin and Kyle Peters aboard the RM-Z450 and RM-250 machinery.

June 16: Round 7. MotoGP. Gran Premi of Catalunya. Barcelona. Spain. A home race for Rins and Mir, who currently hold 3rd and 15th respectively in the series aboard their GSX-RR machinery.

June 15-16: Round 5. AMA/ MotoAmerica SBK. Utah Motorsports Campus. USA. Elias and Herrin currently hold 1st and 5th on the GSX-R1000’s.

June 15-16: Round 4. British Superbikes and Superstock 1000. Brands Hatch. UK. Stapleford and Ray are 14th and 15th in BSB, with Cooper in the lead of the National Superstock 1000 series, after extending it at the previous round at Donington Park.

June 15-16: Round 4. Highpoint National. Mt. Morris. USA. Hill is currently 12th in the 450 class with Martin and Peters 8th and 20th respectively in the 250s.
