This bike may not be intended to compete or replace the Goldwing or the Valkyrie. This bike will be more likely replacing the ST 1300. But this machine does have some implications for both the Goldwing and the Valkyrie.
The V6 engine employed in the X-Wing is a 1500cc and has variable valve timing.
Very simular to the Honda Griffon, the X-Wing was released January 29th, 2004 or about 6 months before the Griffon. It could be the Griffon was developed from this X-Wing.
